Croque Madame Pizza



Croque Madame Pizza is a fun take on the original Croque Madame sandwich. It has two types of cheese, savory ham, and runny egg yolks on a crispy pizza crust. This meal is rich and tasty, and it's great for dinner or brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup bchamel sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyre cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Emmental cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices of ham
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Set your oven to 475F 245C before you start cooking

On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the size and shape you want

Then, put it on a baking sheet or pizza stone

Mix the bechamel sauce well with the pizza dough, making sure to leave a little space around the edges for the crust

Shred the Gruyre and Emmental cheeses and sprinkle them on top of the bchamel sauce

Lay the ham slices out in a circle on top of the cheese

In the pizza, make four small wells, one in each corner

Be careful as you crack an egg into each pizza hole

Add a little salt and pepper to the eggs

Toast the oven and put the pizza in it

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the egg yolks are still runny

Once the Croque Madame Pizza is done, take it out of the oven and top it with chopped fresh parsley

Serve it hot
