Slow Cooker Beef Stew
A hearty beef stew that is cooked slowly in a crockpot and is great for cozy dinners or get-togethers.
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 4 potatoes, diced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix beef stew meat with flour, salt, pepper, and paprika until meat is coated
Place coated meat into the slow cooker
Add Worcestershire sauce, chopped onion, minced garlic, sliced carrots, diced potatoes, beef broth, and bay leaf to the slow cooker
Stir to combine ingredients
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until meat is tender
Discard bay leaf before serving
